Scritti Politti have released quite a few extraordinary pop songs, but the sad lovesong 'Oh Patti (Don't feel sorry for loverboy)' is perhaps the best example of what Green Gartside and his band were capable of during the often so kitschy Eighties. This beautifully crafted song featuring Miles Davis on trumpet is presented here in three different versions, together wit ha bouncy B-side called 'Best thing ever'.
