'Hey mister heartache' was the first single by Kim Wilde to be released on CD, and it was quite a spectacular selection of tracks on this disc, too: the album version and extended mix of the track (both of which would appear on the CD 'Close' a few months later) and the B-side, 'Tell me where you are'. Oddly enough, the 7" edit of 'Hey mister heartache' didn't make it onto this selection, but would be released on a compilation CD in Germany some time later.
Years later, I would buy the UK version of this CD single, which features two old hits of Kim. But I think the European audience got the better deal.
